Who builds MaintenanceIQ
MaintenanceIQ is a product of Codiot Technologies LLP (opens in a new tab). We make software for factories: foundries and casting shops, food plants and general manufacturing.
We build it next to the people who use it. Our foundry records were reshaped after an investment caster showed us that melting and casting are separate stages, owned by different people at different times. Our die and tooling master was built from a prototype a customer approved before we wrote the module. That is how we prefer to work: see the floor, agree the shape, then build.
What we believe about maintenance software
Most plants still run maintenance on memory: work orders in a spreadsheet, checklists on paper, readings on a whiteboard. The people doing the work deserve better than that, and better than a generic app that does not know what a furnace campaign or a CCP is.
So we keep a few rules. Records are kept, not overwritten. Numbers such as yield, LTIFR and OEE are worked out from the records, so they cannot disagree with them. Predictions show their evidence. And we say plainly what the product does not do yet.
How we work with plants
We do not ask anyone to roll out across a whole plant on day one.

Choose the line or asset group where downtime hurts most. Register its assets and bring in the readings you already collect, by hand or from CSV and Excel files.

Prove it there.
Look for the first early warning, the first planned fix and the first audit-ready evidence pack on that line.

Extend.
Roll the same record out across the plant and your other sites, with access set by role, factory and department.

You own PM compliance, the work order backlog, spare parts and downtime, and you want them on one record.
Reliability and quality heads
You track bad actors, MTBF, MTTR and OEE, or you face VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, FSSC 22000 or ISO 55001 audits.
